      We are located in Wheatland California approximately 30 miles north of Sacramento. From Interstate 80 you will take Ca-65 North toward Lincoln/Marysville travel 21.6 miles then take a right on Main St. travel 0.1 mile turn left on Front St.. We are on the right at 420 Front St..

The History of Kuk Sool Won of Wheatland.

     Kuk Sool Won of Wheatland was started in 1992 by Kwahn Jahng Nim(Title of 5th degree black belt-master level) Tony Reyna. At that time he was Kyo Sa Nim(2nd degree black belt) Tony and was teaching on nearby Beale Air Force Base in the evenings. Having served his tour of duty in the Air Force he had also acquired a day job in sales to pay the bills. But his dream had always been to have a fulltime Kuk Sool Won School and in August of 1992 he opened Kuk Sool Won of Wheatland.  Because of his positive attitude and his gift for inspiring students to do things they never thought they could do, the school became an immediate success. He was able to quit his day job and teach Kuk Sool full time. One of first students to sign up is current owner and chief instructor Pu Sa Bum Nim Rick Cairnes and after his promotion to black belt in 1996 he became Kwahn Jahng Nim Tony's first assistant Instructor. In 1998 Master Reyna opened another school in Nevada City and Pu Sa Bum Rick became Head Instructor of the Wheatland School. The school in Nevada City also did very well and in 2002 Kwahn Jahng Nim Tony made arrangements with Pu Sa Nim Rick to take over Kuk Sool Won of Wheatland. There have been a few changes over the years but the one thing that has never changed is the positive," you can do it" atmosphere that Kwahn Jahng Nim Tony created so long ago.  Following in his teacher and mentors footsteps Sa Bum Nim Rick endeavors to keep Kuk Sool Won of Wheatland a positive and inspirational place to train.
